GBI Board of Directors

The Green Building Initiative (GBI) is governed by a multi-stakeholder board of directors featuring representatives from industry, NGOs, construction companies, architectural firms, and academic institutions. Each board member has one vote, so no single entity or individual has more control than any other. Our board members are industry leaders who provide direction for the Green Building Initiative and its staff, but these board members have no influence over the certifications themselves as the certifications are derived from the consensus-based ANSI process.

Nominate A Board Member

If you would like to nominate someone to be considered for GBI’s Board of Directors, let us know by completing the below nomination form, and if you are interested in joining GBI’s Board of Directors, please complete the Board Application to share your interest areas and expertise.
