With third-party assessments of their Green Globes ratings now complete, three new buildings recently celebrated sustainable construction milestones. More

The US EPA recently gave a Lifecycle Building Challenge award to the Athena Institute for developing a tool that makes it easy for architects, engineers and others to incorporate life cycle assessment results into the design of green buildings. More


Both the Northeast Ohio and Durham green building programs have expanded in the past month to include additional Home Builder Associations. More


It is our hope that the green building movement will one day be obsolete—because the only way for that to happen is for "green" building to become regular, everyday practice. More


As the state's primary environmental agency, the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality felt compelled to lead by example when it came time to plan its new headquarters.  The end result: an impressive rating of three Green Globes. More
