Green Globes Training

The GBI offers a variety of free training opportunities for architects, engineers, builders, developers, government officials and others interested in knowing more about Green Globes.

Workshops

For in-person training, the GBI offers three-hour workshops designed to provide a detailed overview and demonstration of the Green Globes system. Workshops are taught by Jiri Skopek, architect, planner, environmental consultant and technical advisor to the GBI, and Harvey Bryan, Ph.D., professor of building sciences at Arizona State University and a member of the GBI board of directors.

Upcoming sessions will be held on June 28 at the Chicago Center for Green Technology in Chicago, IL, and June 29 at the offices of RenewAire LLC in Madison, WI.

For more information or to register, please e-mail Mike Gehrig at mgehrig@thegbi.org or call (312) 988-2065.

Web-based Training

For those who prefer on-line training, an introduction to Green Globes is currently available on the GBI Web site. Please check back often as we’re also putting the final touches on a series of scheduled web-based presentations covering all aspects of the system.
