Members and Supporters BenefitsMembers/Supporters continually look for ways to acknowledge their company's involvement in the green building space. Affiliation as a Member/Supporter of the GBI is an opportunity to get a company's logo in front of 7,000 website viewers a month from builders, owners and others wanting to understand trends and developments in this very important space. Members/Supporters may want to sponsor opportunities to educate builders and owners about best practices, participate in posting materials in the green resource library or offer interested parties the state building incentive site. Members of the GBI have these opportunities and more on the GBI website. Members/Supporters may want to add their expertise in helping with the governance and oversight of the Green Building Initiative. This valuable opportunity is important both to the GBI who is looking for strong leaders to help shape the organization and to industry professionals who want their voices to be heard. Those interested primarily in the benefits of utilizing the Green Globes tools, training, and personnel certification products to meet their sustainability goals may join the GBI as a Client/User Supporter at the $10,000 level. This entitles them to credits toward selected Green Globes products and services plus having their company referenced and listed on the supporter page.

The GBI newsletter has a readership of approximately 10,000. All GBI
Members are acknowledged in the GBI Insight during the first several

Client/User Supporters joining GBI at the $10,000 level receive credits to purchase any combination of Green Globes NC subscriptions, Green Globes CIEB subscriptions, and/or Personnel Certification products totaling up to $10,000 at applicable pricing net of discounts. Credits are not applicable to Building assessment/certification services offered by GBI. |

Members & Supporters will receive a specified number of Green Globes – NC and CIEB licenses to use on their own buildings or as a marketing benefit to channels of their choice. (Building certification not included in this benefit).Green Globes New Construction (NC) is an easy-to-use, on-line design and assessment tool that provides continuous feedback on project ratings and green performance through the design process. Green Globes for Continual Improvement of Existing Buildings (CIEB) allows building owners and property managers to evaluate the green improvement and performance of their building portfolios.  |

This opportunity allows a company or organization to post educational
white papers, training or other green educational criterion on the GBI
Resource Library (Posted materials must meet the education criterion as
outlined / approved by the GBI). |

Recognition in Best Green Building Practices Website Training: ($10,000 Supporters and Members)
This GBI website tab allows the public to view one minute segments on
multiple "best green building practices." Company or organization logos
and sponsorship is included on these educational vignettes. |

Online residential or commercial building content gives members opportunities to sponsor or provide education content in GBI's online venues. Currently, member logos are in the Green Globes Personnel training program or on the GBI. |

Nomination to Board of Directors: ($15,000 Members and above)
Members are allowed to nominate one company representative to the GBI
Board of Directors. To become a member of the Board requires an
endorsing vote from the current Board.Dues are based on annual gross sales. < 500M/$15,000, > 500 to 999M/$25,000, > 1B/$50,000, Trade Groups / Nonprofits / individuals/$20,000. |

Voting Rights: ($15,000 Members and above)
GBI Board Members are entitled to vote on all matters submitted to a vote
of the Board. Voting issues may involve GBI organizational policy,
standards or direction. |

GBI training sessions include selected green webseminars currently
