GBI offers recognition for every certified building. Included with the assessment and certification is a certificate of achievement, and clients have the option to purchase a 16x16 brushed aluminum indoor/outdoor plaque. Buildings that do not reach the minimum certification score of 40% are still eligible to receive a certificate, which designates the building as “Assessed” for the Guiding Principles.

The GBI will send a recognition order form with the third-party assessment report to the client after the on-site assessment has been completed. A certificate is included in the cost of certification, and an all-weather plaque may be ordered with the certificate for an additional fee for certified buildings. Normal processing time is three weeks from final proof approval. Please contact GBI customer service at info@thegbi.org if there is time sensitivity for the receipt of the certificate and/or plaque.
