1. Why should I register for a GBI User Account?

A GBI User Account enables you to receive quotes, the Guiding Principles Compliance Survey, building lists, and other tools directly through your account. Additionally, a User Account is required to purchase Guiding Principles Compliance Assessment services.

3. Why am I having difficulty with registration?

A single email address may only be associated with one User Account. The email address entered may already exist in our system. If you previously ordered a 30-day free trial or requested a newsletter, you already created a GBI User Account. If you forgot your password, you can have your password sent to your email address. If you have not previously created an account, please register using a different email address.

4. What do I do if I have problems logging into my GBI User Account?

If you know the email address used for registration and have forgotten your password, you may request your password. If you continue to have problems please contact a Green Building Initiative site administrator.

5. How do I change my password?

You may change your password by logging in to your User Account and from the Account Home Page select "Change my Password".

You may change your registration or contact information by logging in to your User Account, and from the Account Home page select "Modify my Account Information."
