Green Globes™ Continual Improvement for Existing Buildings has been developed for building
owners and property managers that are interested in evaluating and improving the environmental
performance of existing buildings. Integrating a thorough assessment of environmental performance
and environmental management policies and procedures, Green Globes enables environmentally conscious
property owners, and facilities managers to identify and implement improvements that are intended to reduce
energy consumption, conserve precious water resources, and mininize pollution in the form of
greenhouse gases, solid waste, emissions & effluents. Buildings that score high on the Green
Globes rating scale are working to minimize impact on the environment, and offer occupants a better
environment to live, work, or visit.

are eligible to schedule an independent, third party assessment that can lead to a prestigious

building or managing commercial buildings in an environmentally responsible manner.
