Professional Associate Levels & Benefits

Who Qualifies?

Professional Associate affiliation is available to architects, builders, commissioning providers, consultants, contractors, educational institutions, engineers, interior designers, landscape designers, planners, property managers, property owners, public agency officials and retailers who are involved in the design or management of commercial buildings.

Free Use of the Green Globes Tool

Professional Associates are entitled to use the Green Globes New Construction Module for self-assessment at no additional charge, with the number of uses dependent on the level of affiliation. However, buildings may not be promoted as having earned a Green Globes rating until they have undergone third-party verification—which requires an additional fee—including a comprehensive review of documentation and a post-construction on-site inspection of the building.
