 The National Green Building Standard™ for residential construction has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and is available through the NAHB.  
The home builder associations of Illinois and Tennessee—which together represent 36 local HBAs—are the latest to partner with GBI to offer virtual training with our new online Learning Management System.  Philadelphia's Drexel University has become the first university in the country to commit to using Green Globes for all new and existing campus buildings.
With Green Globes poised to become the first American National Standard for commercial green building, GBI looks at related efforts over the past year that are helping to make it one of the country's premier green building rating systems.

 GBI now has Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.  In the context of green building rating systems such as Green Globes and NAHB Green, DAP adhesives and sealants play a role by helping to achieve points in the categories for indoor air quality and energy efficiency. |
